I have a pair of the older Grip Trex boots that my beagle, Daisy, never liked. I bought these boots probably in 2006 [we adopted our girl in 2005]. I still have the box for them. I know how wonderful the beagle breed is. So….if we can get in touch with each other, I will send these to you. Your sweet little beagle needs to enjoy her walks. We walk both of our beagles everyday. I have never put these boots on Louise, my other beagle. She is just the type that would never wear them….more so than Daisy.
The boots are great. It’s just that my girls would rather wear their Ruffwear harnesses.

Hi Isabel,

Thanks for asking. We are sorry to hear about you lab’s elbow. All of our boots have many features that benefit dogs for multiple reasons. The sole provides great traction on all types of surfaces and protection from sharp surfaces. Unfortunately there is not really any cushioning in the sole so we cannot claim that our boots will help absorb impact and assist in the recovery for your dog. I hope this helps and we are all hoping for a speedy recovery for your canine companion!
