Minimalism is the new performance standard. Finding inspiration in the latest technologies in the footwear industry and combining that with 15 years of experience in canine boot design, Ruffwear’s product development team is proud to introduce the all-new Summit Trex dog boot. This boot provides high-performance, everyday paw protection that excels both on and off the trail.

When you first take this boot out of the box, you will immediately notice the supple feel of the Ruffwear-designed non-marking outsole. This outsole has a minimalist design that provides plenty of traction while remaining extremely flexible under the paw pad.

1540_SummitTrex_Lifestyle06_ZoomSmall dogs will rejoice in the fact that this boot is available in two smaller sizes than other Ruffwear dog boot styles and is soft enough to flex under their paw, even with lighter body weight.

The Summit Trex has an integrated stretch gaiter at the top that helps secure the boot to the paw while also locking out rocks, dirt and debris.

The upper is made from a weather-resistant material that keeps moisture and sand out. The boot is secured with an intuitive, reliable hook and loop cinch strap that has a reflective trim for low-light visibility.

For the ultimate every-day boot that provides excellent paw protection and traction with a minimal feel, this is your go-to dog boot. Whether looking for paw pad protection for high-mileage activities on the trail or looking to protect paws from extreme temps, abrasive surfaces and snow melt chemicals, trust the Summit Trex to perform.

All Ruffwear dog boots are sized based on the paw width. For tips on how to measure your dogs paw width, watch this video.

  1. Does anyone know how well they work in snow?

  2. these are looking so good. I have used summer boots for dogs in summer season to save dog’s paw.

  3. These look pretty nice. I think if you add the stretch gaiter from these to the Grip Trex boots it’ll make the perfect backcountry dog footwear.

  4. We just came back from the vet where we were fixing a toe nail that was broken on a long hike last weekend… We just might need to invest in a pair of these!
